KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The city of Kalamazoo will be featured in a new half-hour TV show called John McGivern’s Main Streets which will air Sunday morning, April 17, on CW7 at 10:30 a.m.
The show is led by five-time Emmy Award winning actor, comedian, and now TV host John McGivern who chose Kalamazoo to be featured in season one of the destination travel show which will highlight 13 Midwestern towns or cities in six different states.
Each episode will have interviews with local entrepreneurs and civic leaders while uncovering the uniqueness and charm of each community. And Kalamazoo has the honor of being chosen as one of only two locations in Michigan this year for the show.
The episode featuring Kalamazoo will cover the history of the area, prominent landmarks and attractions, and highlight several local businesses and entrepreneurs who have shaped the community.
