CONSTANTINE TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two young children died in a structure fire early Monday morning in the 14000 block of Timm Road in St. Joseph County’s Constantine Township.
The Michigan State Police are investigating the blaze which was reported at 12:24 a.m..
By the time the first trooper arrived on scene, the structure was fully engulfed in flames.
State Police say at this time, the cause and origin of the fire has not been determined.
Investigators worked through the night along with local fire departments at the scene.
Also assisting were the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department, the Constantine Police Department, the Constantine and Fabius Township Fire Departments and the St. Joseph County Crisis Team
