Dennis “Denny” Wayne Grindle, 62 of Bronson passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler of the First Congregational Church officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Matteson Lake Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a luncheon hosted by the Coldwater Eagles. The luncheon will directly follow the service until 6:00 p.m.
Dennis was born May 6, 1959 to Carlin and Beverly (Strong) Grindle in Sturgis, MI. He graduated from Bronson High School in 1977 and worked at Bronson Plating for many years before enjoying his retirement.
Denny was well known for being a handyman who could fix just about anything. He enjoyed watching Nascar, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends, many of which he considered family. Dennis took great pride in designing and constructing custom fishing rods with intricate detail and designs.
He was an active member of the Coldwater Eagles, where he worked and volunteered part-time. Denny was a friend to everyone he met and was willing to help anyone in need. His true joy in life was spending time with his family especially his grandaughter Matteson. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Dennis is survived by his parents Carlin “Cork” (Beverly) Grindle of Bronson; his children Stacy (Christopher Haight) Grindle of Bronson and Devin (Kristin) Grindle of Dewitt; his granddaughter Matteson Grindle; his sister Denise (Steve) Sexton of Coldwater; his brother-in- law Alan Watts of Bronson; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister Sarah Watts.
Memorials may be directed to the Coldwater Fraternal Order of Eagles.
