CHICAGO, IL (WTVB) – Multiple reports say Big Ten Conference presidents and chancellors met again yesterday to expedite the conference playing football this fall. No vote was reportedly taken on a restart, which includes moving it up to October.
On Saturday, a smaller group of leaders and medical experts met in the Return to Competition Task Force, which Michigan State is a member.
The league has faced a backlash since voting last month to postpone fall sports to January because of coronavirus concerns. Three other Power Five conferences opted to play this fall.
