COLDWATER (WTVB) – TGIFFOOMD…Thank God it’s February For Only One More Day unless you love living in these frigid Winter weather conditions. More than a third of this month in Branch County had days when the mercury dipped below zero with the last two days, minus double digit new record low readings for Coldwater, and that makes it ten days in February with below zero temperatures. And you thought January was cold, and it was, but only half as chilly, with 5 days in the minus zero category. March means maybe some relief is on the way, at least for one day. Tuesday’s forecast high is 38 but the glass is half full…with also snow turning to freezing rain for March Third and then two days later, below zero again by Friday morning. Hang in there, though. AccuWeather.Com says two weeks from today, it’s supposed to warm up to 56 degrees.
