QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – On Saturday February 21st the Quincy High School Quiz Bowl team competed at Jackson Christian High School. The final results of the tournament were, 4th place Napoleon High School 50 points, 3rd Place Jackson Christian High School 52 points, 2nd Place (tie) Jackson Lumen Christi High School and Leslie High School 59 points, and in first place Quincy High School 68 points. The winning Quincy High School team consisted of Shane Tribble ’16, Alex Frank ’16, Capt. Tyler Powell ’15, Joe Oberlitner ’16 and Kylee Mawby ’18.
The all freshman team of Anthony Paradine, Chandler Butler, Luke Rufenacht, and Luke Hollenbaugh finished in 6th place with a score of 28 points.
The next scheduled competition for Quincy High School is the State Championships which will be held at Michigan State University onFriday April 17th and Saturday April18th.
