JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy baseball team completed a busy week with another spilt on Saturday at Jackson Lumen Christi on Saturday. The split was the third of the week as the Orioles played a demanding six games against four different opponents. In the end the Orioles went 3-3 and stand 14-13 heading into the final week of regular season.
On Saturday, the Orioles defeated Brooklyn Columbia Central 5-3. Brady Mescher was the winning pitcher. Mason Snyder recorded a six out save. Riley Miner, Davin George, and Ryder Schmactenberger had two hits apiece. Grant Holroyd had three RBI’s.
In the 2nd game of the day, the Orioles were beaten by Lumen Christi 12-0. George continued his strong day at the plate with another two hit game. The Orioles are back at it with a game against Mendon at Quincy on Tuesday.
