ALGANSEE TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – One person was taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital following a three vehicle crash in Algansee Township on Wednesday morning.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Office says it took place at about 7:45 a.m. at South Ray Quincy and Lester Roads.
They report two full size pickup trucks and an SUV were involved.
The Deputy’s preliminary investigation shows an SUV driven by 71-year-old Pamela Strong of Coldwater was east bound on Lester Road and had stopped at stop sign.
Due to sun glare, Strong pulled into the intersection and was struck by pick up truck driven by 27-year-old Cameron Brenner of Quincy.
The first impact caused the Brenner pickup to strike a northbound pick up truck head on which was driven by 91-year-old Harold Billman of Montgomery.
All three drivers were wearing seat belts.
Billman was transported to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital for treatment.
Sheriff Deputies were assisted by Quincy Fire Rescue, Life Care Ambulance Service and some citizens who stopped to render aid.
