COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In light of recent shootings at schools, churches, and stores across the country, Michigan State Police will be coordinating with other law enforcement on Branch County for active shooter training.
MSP Marshall Post Commander Lt. Barry Schrader says the object will be to get all the agencies on the same page if an incident should occur.
Schrader says he will be coordinating with local police chiefs and Branch County Sheriff John Pollack for the training. The Sheriff has offered the former county jail as a training site. An area vacant school might also be used
