COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Intermediate School District Board of Education gave Superintendent Kris Jenkins a “highly effective” rating during their meeting on Wednesday.
Board President Ken Norton said the action came after the board went into an executive session last month to discuss the superintendent’s evaluation.
Norton added they all agreed Jenkins was doing an outstanding job.
She has served as the district superintendent since July of 2018.
Meanwhile, the district is looking at refreshing its logo.
Jenkins said it is not official yet but it would maintain the district’s traditional green while adding the color of blue.
Each service area covering the Careers Center, Special Education, Early Education and Adult Education would get their own logo.
Board members said they liked the changes and Jenkins added they will send it out to staff members to see if they will give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down.
