COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A seventh grader from Legg Middle School will be going to the Presidential Inauguration January 20, 2017 in Washington D.C. after writing a letter to President-Elect Donald Trump.
Hailey Dirschell says she got the idea from one of her teachers.
She was told by Congressman Tim Walberg’s office she had three tickets to the inauguration.
Dirschell says she likes what Trump is planning to do with the country. She adds she and her family might be going to the Michigan Gala during the Inauguration.
Their tickets for the swearing in of Trump will be in Union Square and her homework assignment for the trip is to take a lot of photos.
Dirschell is hoping to be involved in politics and the straight A student wants to be in some sort of government work when she gets older.
