911 Director says to Board they are still short of dispatchers

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County 911 Director Bob Swick reported to the 911 Board of Wednesday there has been no change over the last month in the number of full time dispatchers they have employed.

Swick said they currently have eight full time dispatchers with two other potential staff members in training.

There’s also a manager’s position that still has to be filled by Branch County 911 Communications.

Swick said they are just plugging along with the staffing issue, just like everyone else.

A complete staff would consist of 11 full time dispatchers.
