BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Fire Department says November was a busy month as they responded to 34 calls, 18 of which were fire calls and 16 were medical assists.
The last call of the month was a mutual aid call to assist the Orland Indiana Fire Department on a barn fire.
Bronson Fire administrators have requested $325,000 for air pack replacement from FEMA under the Assistance to Firefighter’s Grant.
They should find out by early spring if the grant request will be approved.
Fire officials say only about 3,000 of the nearly 20,0000 applicants are successful each year.
