COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker reported to the City Council on Monday night that the City will soon close on the seventh lot sale to Allen Edwin Homes of Portage.
The Council formally approved an agreement last October to sell ten city owned lots on Thompson Boulevard to Westview Capital, LLC, which is an affiliate of Allen Edwin Homes.
Baker said a number of homes have been sold and construction is scheduled to start yet this year.
Westview wanted to buy the lots in order to build single family residential homes between $250,000 and $299,000 which they would then sell.
