COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Two Coldwater men were arraigned Thursday in Branch County District Court after they allegedly conspired to take money and cigarettes from a local convenience store.
One of the suspects, 28-year-old Zachary Michael Siegel, was an employee of the store where the alleged crime took place Wednesday.
He along with 25-year-old Jordan Michael Camp were arrested following a Coldwater Police Department investigation.
According to court documents, $93 along with 10 packs of cigarettes were taken.
Siegel and Camp are facing charges of larceny in a building, false reporting to a police officer and lying to a peace officer. Camp was also charged with possession of marijuana.
Bond for both suspects was set at $15,000. Probable cause hearings were scheduled for next Thursday and preliminary exams were set for December 21, 2016.
