COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Games and practices have been halted for the time being for the Coldwater High School boys varsity and junior varsity soccer teams.
School officials over the weekend received a report of a player who reportedly tested positive for Covid-19. After consultation with officials from the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency, it was decided to ask the rest of the players and coaching staff to self-quarantine until they can be tested. The students will also be kept out of school.
The Cardinals were scheduled to host Pennfield Tuesday, but Pennfield’s varsity team is also in the middle of a 14 day quarantine. Coldwater’s games at Parma Western and home against Harper Creek Saturday are on hold at this moment.
