BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – After being forced to hold Zoom meetings over the last several months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Quincy and Branch Intermediate School District Boards of Education are scheduled to have in person meetings this week.
The Quincy School Board of Education will meet Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Jennings Elementary School Commons Area where there will room for social distancing. COVID-19 protocols will also be in place.
The Quincy School Board has not had an in person meeting since March 16.
Meanwhile, the B.I.S.D. Board of Education is scheduled to meet in person at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the Waldron Center Cafeteria on Bishop Avenue.
They have not had an in person meeting since February. The switch to the Waldron Center had to be made because the conference room in the B.I.S.D. Administration office where board meetings are normally held is way to small for social distancing guidelines.
State of Michigan social distancing orders and guidelines will be in place for Wednesday’s meeting.
