Samantha Eve Merkle, 38, of Coldwater passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in Coldwater.
A memorial visitation celebrating Samantha’s life will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
She was born on February 22, 1984 to Rainer and June (Oxler) Broszeit in Bremen, Germany. Sam was a passionate and talented artist owning her own tattoo shops first in Heidelberg, Germany and ultimately here in Coldwater.
When she was younger Samantha enjoyed playing softball. As she grew, Sam found her joy in drawing, painting, and kayaking but her greatest love of all was spending time with her son Lucas.
Samantha leaves behind her son Lucas Merkle of Quincy; her mother June Taylor of Jackson; the father of her child Tom Merkle of Quincy and her brother Josh Riemenschneider of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father Rainer M. Broszeit.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to her son Lucas to assist with funeral expenses.
