DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The last place Detroit Tigers fell 4-3 to the Guardians in 10 innings at Comerica Park as Cleveland completed a three game sweep. Detroit rallied from a 3-0 deficit and forced extra innings with two runs in the last of the ninth. The game was tied 3-3 in the top of the tenth when Oscar Gonzalez drove in the go-ahead run on a single off of losing pitcher Gregory Soto. Bryan Shaw came into the game in the bottom half and shut down Detroit to earn the save. Javy Baez homered in the loss for Detroit. The Tigers are 43-70 on the season. Detroit will visit the White Sox tonight.
