COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of two suspects arrested last August in a Bronson Police Department drug investigation was sentenced Monday in Branch County Circuit Court.
20-year-old Dylan Christopher Smith was placed on probation for a year-and-a-half and given credit for 41 days already served in jail after he entered a guilty plea to a charge of being in possession of less than 25 grams of a controlled substance.
Charges of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug house and possession of marijuana were dismissed by prosecutors in exchange for the guilty plea.
Smith and 26-year-old Ryan James Stoner were arrested after police executed a search warrant in the 200 block of State Street.
