COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Over 1,100 families around Branch County now have enough food for Thanksgiving dinner, and more, thanks to the efforts of dozens of volunteers and businesses in the area. The annual Thanksgiving Feeding Branch County distribution was held Saturday in the Fairfield Plaza.
Families that signed up through the Branch Area Food Pantry received a turkey, potatoes, vegetables, dessert, cereal, and more. The food boxes were assembled by volunteers and loaded right into the cars of those receiving the food.
The Christmas food box distribution for Feeding Branch County will be held Saturday, December 17. Donations are still being accepted at the Branch Area Food Pantry at 22 Pierson Street, Coldwater.
