BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – For the second straight season, the Bronson Vikings are the top Class C volleyball team in the state. The Lady Vikings won the title against Brown City Saturday afternoon in 4 games (23-25, 25-22, 25-11, 25-19).
A parade through the city and a rally at the high school were held Saturday after the team arrived back in Bronson.
Bronson individual statistics:
Allison Sikorski 13 kills, two aces, 14 digs
Keona Salesman 12 kills
Ashton Wronikowski 8 kills
Kiana Mayer 7 kills, 40 assists and 9 digs
Jill Pyles 12 kills and three digs
Adyson Lasky 8 digs and three assists
Paris Outwater 4 digs
Clare Mayes 2 aces and 2 digs
Kiera Lasky 3 aces and 19 digs
The Vikings ended the season with a 50-9-6 record, and their third state title under coach Jean LaClair.
