BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings are one victory away from winning a second straight Class C state volleyball championship. The second ranked Vikings defeated Calumet 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-14) Thursday in the M.H.S.A.A. Class C semifinals at Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek. It was the Vikings 49th victory of the season.
Allison Sikorski had 11 kills and 11 digs, Ashton Wronikowski had 10 kills, Kiana Mayer had 30 assists, Jill Pyles had seven kills and eight service aces, Kiera Lasky had 15 digs, and Adyson Lasky had 10 digs
The Vikings will face Brown City for the state title at 12 noon Saturday. Brown City advanced with a 3-2 win over Adrian Madison.(21-25, 25-20, 25-22, 21-25, 15-12)
