COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The grand opening of the Branch County Democratic party headquarters at 31 West Chicago in Coldwater will be held Thursday evening.
The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m..
Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress Bart Goldberg is scheduled to be there. He is running for the seat now held by Republican Tim Walberg.
Goldberg has expressed his belief in a woman’s right to control her body, and freedom for all people in personal matters and relationships.
Branch County Democrats also say he has expressed concern about our eroding democracy, and the growing impediments many people face in voting today.
Greater economic equity is also a part of his platform,
Other Democrats scheduled to appear include County Commissioner candidate Chris Boger, Andrew Watkins who is running for the Michigan House and Scott Starr who is running for State Senate.
The occasion is open to all.
