MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – A 57-year-old Olivet woman was killed and three other persons were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two vehicle traffic accident which took place at the intersection of Partello Road and 20 Mile Road in Marengo Township.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says the fatal victim was in a car that may not have stopped for the traffic sign.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver was airlifted to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo and was listed in critical condition.
Both occupants of the other vehicle involved were treated and released from Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall.
The Calhoun County Accident Reconstruction Team continues to investigate.
