HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater won an exciting Interstate 8 girls volleyball match at Hastings on Wednesday night, three games to two by scores of 25-18, 25-22, 20-25, 19-25, 15-11.
The Cardinals played without Elli Foley after she had knee surgery Monday night and is now out the rest of our season.
Violet Waltke had 26 digs.
Mackenzie Scheid also had a big night with 19 kills and was 100 percent from the serving line.
Mya Porter led in aces with 8 and added 5 kills and 19 digs.
Maren DeBeau led in assists with 26 and added 12 digs and 2 aces along with her 100 percent serving.
Jaelah Sloan was second overall with 12 kills while Ava Longstreet had 6 kills.
Hastings won the J.V. match 25-20, 25-21

Hastings also won the freshman match 25-17, 25-17.
