WATERLOO, IN (WTVB) – A Waterloo, Indiana man is lodged in the Steuben County Jail after sheriff’s deputies say he led police on a Sunday night pursuit in a stolen vehicle.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department says deputies tried to stop a 2012 Chevy Truck for speeding on Old 27 and 300 South.
The vehicle driven by 30-year-old Jesse Napier failed to stop and continued fleeing south into the town of Waterloo.
The pursuit ended when Napier complied with a request from deputies’ to stop.
He was taken into custody without further incident and later booked at the Steuben County Jail on charges of Resisting, Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Dealing in Methamphetamine.
