COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Mild weather is in the forecast for Monday night and all of the Halloween activities around Branch County.
Forecasters are calling for highs in the mid 50s with no rain on Monday.
In Coldwater, trick-or-treat hours will be Monday from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The annual Halloween Parade, with the theme “Disney Villians,” will be held Saturday night beginning at 7:30 p.m. The parade, which at last report had 32 entries, will step off from North Hudson and head west on U.S. 12 to Pierson Street.
After the parade, the Tibbits Opera House will host a double feature of horror movies starting at 8:30 p.m. The cost is $9 for “Monster Fest” which will feature the movies Plan 9 From Outer Space and the original production of the The Fly starring Vincent Price.
Trick or treating in the City of Bronson and in Tekonsha will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday.
The Bronson Halloween parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the parade line-up starting at 6:15pm at the Century Bank parking lot. The parade will march from Century Bank east to Chicago Street School. The SPooKS event will be held immediately following the parade until 8:00pm.
Trick-or-treating will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday in Union City.
Quincy’s Halloween Parade begins Monday at 5:30 p.m. at Jennings Elementary Monday.
The parade route will follow Fulton to Jefferson to Main to Liberty Street. Trick or treating in Quincy will take place after the parade until 8:00 p.m. Safe trick-or-treating will take place at Jennings Elementary from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
