COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The problem of not having enough officials to work high school sporting events continues.
The Coldwater varsity boys soccer match that was scheduled at home against Three Rivers on Saturday afternoon had to be cancelled due to the lack of officials.
With only two weeks left in the regular season before the MHSAA districts get underway, it’s not known if the match will be rescheduled.
Coldwater is 6-4-3 overall and 3-0-1 in the Interstate 8.
They will play at Jackson Northwest on Tuesday and at Harper Creek on Thursday.
The lack of officials this week forced the Reading at Bronson varsity football game to be pushed back one night to Thursday.
