BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that reconstruction of the U.S. 12 bridge over Swan Creek east of Bronson has been completed.
Pavement markings are being applied and the detour is expected to removed by this evening which will complete most of the work on the $1.8 million project.
There will be some daytime lane closures under flag control in early November as crews seal the new bridge deck but the bridge will remain open to traffic.
U.S. 12 traffic has been detoured around the bridge construction on M-86 and M-66, as well on Log Road since July 5, 2016.
