QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – In high school football Thursday, Michigan Center topped Quincy 28-12 in a Big 8/Cascades Conference Crossover match-up.
Luke Rufenact rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown while Bryce Ruhl also scored for Quincy as the Orioles finished the regular season 5-4 and will likely miss out on the post season. Kyle Locke recorded seven tackles on defense for Orioles.
Also Thursday night in crossover action, Hanover-Horton beat Union City 44-26. The Chargers finished their season at 2-7.

The Addison at Reading game was rescheduled to Saturday at 12 p.m. due to field conditions at Reading from the all-day rain
Two playoff bound teams close out the regular this evening at Cardinal Field as Coldwater plays host to Traverse City West. Both squads are 6-2 and will be trying to improve their post season standing after they clinched playoff berths last week. Coldwater will be making its fourth straight trip to the playoffs. The Bronson Vikings face Lake Michigan Catholic at Bridgeman this evening. The Vikings will be trying win their second game of the season.
In eight man football, Tekonsha’s game against Litchfield has been cancelled for tonight. According to the Tekonsha schools web site, Liitchfield forfeited due to a lack of available players. The forfeit gives Tekonsha a 6-3 record as the Indians have won five straight games.
