COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Charlie Bates, Albert Russell and Larry Nutt were named honorary members during the Branch County Fair Association’s annual meeting and dinner on Wednesday night at the Dearth Center.
The numerous volunteers and supervisors who helped during the fair were thanked for their efforts.
Meanwhile, Jerry Bucklin, Randy Houtz, Al McClellan and Mike Russell were elected to three year terms on the Branch County Fair Board.
Branch County Fair Manager Jan Murphy said the fair in August went well but attendance was down. She said they didn’t get completely rained out and they didn’t lose any animals due to the heat.
She noted there were a lot of positive comments about the fairgrounds.
Murphy says the theme for the 2017 Fair is “Building the Road To Success”.
