QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Smoke testing of Quincy’s sanitary sewer lines is being conducted this week.
Workers from Fleis and Vandenbrink of Kalamazoo are blowing harmless smoke into parts of the sewer system in an effort to find damage, improper connections and where unwanted water maybe entering the sewer system.
Residents do not need to be home while the tests are being conducted and public safety authorities have been notified.
If anyone has questions, they can call the Quincy Village Office at (517)639-9065.
