COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Community Health Center of Branch County’s Great Hospice Duck Race Committee recently presented C.H.C. Hospice Services with a check for $35,000 as proceeds from the June 2016 event.
All proceeds from the race go to support patient and volunteer service programs.
The Duck Race has been held for 23 years in Waterworks Park. Many volunteers work on the fundraising effort. The event has annually attracted hundreds of sponsors and donations from the community.
C.H.C. Hospice Services relies on grants and community donations to support services for patients who have little or no insurance.
