QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Amy Paradine has been involved in coaching, running the clock, and score keeping for the past 27 years at Quincy Community Schools.
Her work was recognized this week as she was inducted into the Basketball Coaches’ Association of Michigan’s “Hall of Honor”.
The BCAM Hall of Honor was established in 1994 to honor those who have helped improve basketball in Michigan.
Awards are given in four categories: Officials, Media, Coach, and Friend of Basketball.
To be eligible, a person must be involved with basketball for at least 20 years.
Quincy boys’ basketball coach Scott Rodesiler who nominated her says, “Amy’s dependability, attention to detail, and ensuring that the game clock was fairly administered are things that athletic directors and coaches appreciate about her.”
