COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -Jeff Budd has announced he will be stepping down as Coldwater City Manager by the end of the year to take a position with the Coldwater BPU. Budd has been City Manager for seven years. Assistant City Manager Keith Baker will become the interim City Manager on January 1st.
Budd ran down a number of accomplishments during his tenure as City Manager as he read a statement to the Coldwater City Council on Monday night.
He indicated the decision to step down was difficult.
Coldwater BPU Director Paul Beckhusen announced that Budd will be their Assistant Director on January 1, 2017.
He went on to say the selection of Budd concludes a restructuring of the CBPU executive leadership. Additions to the executive management team include the promotions of Charlie Bauschard, Jodi Shook and Pat Pool.
