COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County’s 200th COVID-19 related death since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020 was recently reported by the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency.
According to statistics posted on the agency’s web site www.bhsj.org, there have been 11,120 cases reported in Branch County in the last two-and-a-half years.
Hillsdale County has reported 10,681 cases and 215 deaths while there have been 13,199 cases and 222 deaths in St. Joseph County.
Even though restrictions have eased and the number of cases are down compared to recent months, health officials are reminding people the virus is still with us and that you should stay home if you are feeling ill.
COVID-19 vaccinations are available at all the health agency offices in Coldwater, Hillsdale and Three Rivers.
