BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Harper Creek held Coldwater to 113 yards of total offense as they blanked the visiting Cardinals 18-0. It was the fourth time that Coldwater was shut out this season.
The Beavers led 6-0 after the first quarter and added a pair of scores in the third as they improved to 3-5 overall, 3-3 in the Interstate 8.
Zach Coffing led the rushing game for Coldwater with 24 yards on 9 carries. He was also 5-for-8 passing for 44 yards. Tyson Roby had 2 receptions for 16 yards. Hunter Munson had a team-high 7 tackles.
The Cardinals dropped to 1-7 overall, 1-5 in league play, and will host Parma Western to close out the season next Friday.
