SHERWOOD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash late Friday afternoon at the corner of M-60 and M-66 in Sherwood Township. According to State Police, a vehicle on southbound M-66 driven by 19-year-old Alexis Johns of Valparaiso, Indiana failed to yield to traffic at the intersection at around 5:45pm and was hit by a westbound semi-truck. Corrine Johns of Porter, Indiana, a passenger in the Johns vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. Johns was hospitalized with minor injuries, and the unidentified semi driver was unhurt.
