LANSING, MI (WKZO-AM/FM) – All Michigan families eligible to receive food assistance will get an extra $95 this month to help pay for groceries.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s office announced on Friday that more than one-point-three million Michiganders will benefit from the additional payments. Whitmer said the extra $95 a month for groceries frees up more household dollars for essentials such as “utility bills, gas, and winter coats.”
The state says the added benefits should appear on Bridge Cards by the end of the day on Monday.
