COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Quincy man was ordered to serve between 17 months and eight years in the Michigan Department of Corrections on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court after he entered guilty pleas to charges of larceny, possession of cocaine and first degree retail fraud.
27-year-old Justin Delles was publicly called out by Branch County Prosecutor Ralph Kimble who noted his lengthy criminal record. Kimble said Delles has wrecked havoc in this community and that he has tried to pawn stolen property. Kimble said Delles was “a thief and a no good drug addict.”
Delles apologized for his actions and said heroin has taken everything from him.
The maximum sentence for the cocaine possession count was eight years since Delles was a second time offender. The other two counts had maximum sentences of five years.
