COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Board of Health for the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency approved a $27,000 bid last Thursday for a Community Health Needs Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan.
Doctor Marcus Cheatham who is the sole proprietor of Social Data and Public Sector Consultants submitted the bid which was selected by the board.
The Community Health Agency budgeted $50,000 for the work and has been awarded grant funds to cover the cost for the completion of the needs assessment and improvement plan.
The Needs Assessment will include an analysis of all relevant health data including both point-in-time and trend analysis.
Data will be collected through community meetings, surveys and focus groups.
The final documents are scheduled to be released next June.
