COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Michigan Works Southwest along with the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Active Shooter Training Course Friday, September 30, 2016,from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Michigan Works on Vista Drive.
The cost is $30 per person. The course is designed to provide the public with guidance on how to prepare for and respond to an active shooter crisis situation.
Employees and managers will learn what actions to take when confronted with an active shooter and how to assist responding emergency personnel. They will also learn how to recognize potential workforce violence situations.
