COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Despite the morning rain, the 30th anniversary edition of Apple Fest drew a large amount of people to downtown Coldwater Saturday.
The event was hosted by the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce and Chamber Executive Director Nichole Steel said they had 175 vendors, which was a record. The event expanded this year to three days, with music both Friday and Saturday nights, and a church service and breakfast Sunday morning.
The rain cleared out early Saturday afternoon.
By the way, according to www.accuweather.com, it has rained in Coldwater five out of the last six Saturdays and seven out of the last night Saturdays going back to July 23, 2016.
