CONVIS TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) -Some explosive devices had to removed Tuesday from a home in Calhoun County but the Sheriff’s Department says there was nothing criminal about the discovery.
The Battle Creek City Bomb Squad had to be called to the Convis Township home in the 21000 block of 14-mile Road to help remove the devices.
The “explosive based materials” were detonated but the Sheriff’s Department did not say exactly what they were.
An unknown liquid was handed over to the Calhoun County Public Health Department’s Environmental unit for disposal.
