STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – A 28-year-old Sturgis man was arrested on numerous charges just before midnight Tuesday night when the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department says their deputies found crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and over $9,000 of suspected stolen lottery tickets from Michigan and Indiana inside of his vehicle.
Deputies and a K-9 made the discovery after the suspects vehicle was pulled over for a defective equipment violation in the City of Sturgis.
The suspect was lodged on charges of Possession of Meth and Marijuana charges.
Deputies were assisted on scene by the Sturgis Police Department’s K-9 Unit.
