FABIUS TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office is looking into a late night crash on Sunday which sent the driver to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
According to witnesses, 57-year-old James Douglas Johnson was north bound on U.S. 131 at Cotherman Lake at about 11:00pm when his vehicle suddenly veered into a guardrail and overturned.
Deputies say speed was not a factor in the accident.
Johnson was taken by Three Rivers Ambulance to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo to be treated for his injuries.
