COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater school officials say there have been five persons who have expressed an interest in the vacancy on the school board which was created by the recent resignation of Lance Houck.
The names of the interested candidates were unavailable from the district on Thursday afternoon.
The board is scheduled to hold a special meeting on Monday night at5:00pm to name a new board member to serve out the rest of Houck’s term which expires at the end of 2018. After that it becomes a six year term.
Anyone interested in serving on the board was asked to submit a letter of interest to the administration office by the end of business on Tuesday. One candidate submitted a letter last Friday. The others submitted their letters before the deadline on Tuesday.
