PARK TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Three Rivers man was injured Wednesday when his bicycle was struck by a vehicle in St. Joseph County’s Park Township.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department says 64-year-old James Peter was hit on Parkville Road south of Heimbaugh Road by 74-year-old Alma Bernheisel who is also from Three Rivers.
Peter was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
The severity of his injuries was not released by the Sheriff’s Department nor did they indicate if charges would be filed.
