CENTREVILLE, MI (WTVB) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department says they arrested four people including two teenagers over the Labor Day holiday weekend on methamphetamine related charges.
A 30-year-old Sturgis man was arrested Friday night after deputies stopped a vehicle on Middle Colon Road for an equipment violations. Deputies say they found meth hidden behind a radio in the vehicle.
A 28-year-old Three Rivers man was arrested Sunday morning after another equipment violation stop on U.S. 131 near Millard Road. Deputies say they a passenger in the vehicle trying to conceal an unknown object in between the seats. A search of the vehicle revealed the object was a container with meth inside. Charges will be sought against a woman who was inside of the vehicle.
Two teenage boys from Indiana were arrested on meth charges after their vehicle broke down Sunday morning on U.S. 12 near White School Road. Deputies say the youngsters were found to be in possession of meth and several items used in the manufacture and distribution of narcotics.
An 18-year-old was arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver Meth. A 17-year-old was also arrested on the same charge as well as charges for possession of a schedule four narcotic and resisting and obstructing police. Several items were seized from the vehicle.
